Projects in Canada

WJ are a key part of the Eglington Crosstown Light Rail Transit System

The Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) project consists of 19.7 km of light rail transit running along Eglinton Avenue from Mount Dennis in the west to Kennedy in the east. The project is being designed and constructed by Crosslinx Transit Solutions Contractors (Crosslinx).

The image below shows the general location of the scheme and stations including the underground section between Keele and Laird.

The main contract works for our first station involves construction of a new station and crossover structure below Eglinton Avenue East at the Junction with Laird Drive using sequential excavation techniques with support provided by sprayed concrete lining. In addition to the station and crossover structure, main and secondary entrances will be constructed by open cut method. The entrances will give access to the station and crossover tunnels.
