WJ Group continues global expansion with new contract awards in the Philippines

WJ have had a global dewatering presence for more than 20 years with existing offices in the UK, Canada, Poland, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and a history of working in many more nations. In April 2021, we were pleased to add the Philippines to this list after being awarded the USD $6m contract for the dewatering of the new Clark-Malolos Railway Station at Clark International Airport, approximately 100km north of the capital city of Manila.

When the South Korean engineering and construction company, SK ecoplant, whose annual global revenues are about £4 billion, required a dewatering contractor to help to solve a problem with a series of distressed high speed railway tunnel cross passages under construction on the Bujeon – Masan Railway Project on South Korea’s south coast, they turned to WJ. WJ expand in to Kuwait

WJ have been an established part of the dewatering game in the Middle East for over 15 years now since providing the dewatering for the Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 development back in 2003, with offices in Dubai since 2005 and our Qatar office due to celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2019. January this year marked our expansion in to nearby Kuwait when we were appointed by the Main Contractor HDEC (Hyundai Engineering and Construction) working under the Client KIPIC (Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company) for the Al Zour Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal Project.
