On the 2nd of July, WJ Groundwater’s Richard Fielden (Managing Director) cycled 300 miles with the Keep the Beat Cycling Team to raise money for the Leicester Royal Infirmary Heart Unit at Glenfield. Following on from the purchase of the supremely handsome Range Rover, we are welcoming a further addition to the fleet. A DAF LF220 18 tonne dropside lorry. It comes equipped with an impressive 10 tonne capacity crane.
So far 2016 has been a year of mixed fortune for WJ Groundwater-sponsored cycle squad Team Frankie’s. One of the biggest changes is the reduced racing calendar. However, the team continues to grow apace and nowadays it has a healthy mix of locals and ex-pats from across a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
WJ Groundwater recently upgraded its transport fleet by adding this new, fully liveried, Landrover Defender 110. The new addition will be road-wrangled by our electrician Rob Whitby, already an experienced off-road driver.
