All at WJ are shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Carl Gawtry on 4th June 2024.
Carl was employed by WJ for nearly 25 years and was a valued and well liked colleague. He was a crucial part of the team that enabled WJ to become the leading dewatering well drillers in the UK, and he played a vital role in the successful development of our unique in-tunnel drilling services which have since been deployed around the world. He was friendly and supportive to all staff, young and old, junior and senior and shared his knowledge freely.
Everyone at WJ who knew and worked with Carl will remember him fondly and we send our condolences to his family and friends.
