The 21st September is a very special day for everyone connected to WJ as it is the 40th anniversary of our formation!
Back in 1981 the company was very different to the WJ we all know today, comprising less than half a dozen employees (although two of those, Dr Toby Roberts and Jackie Lee, are both still with the company today!) operating out of a makeshift office, and initially focusing on consultancy and design work, before progressing to contracting in 1982.
It’s amazing to think that over the space of 40 years WJ have grown from this to a company with hundreds of employees and a worldwide presence!
