It’s not often WJ are featured in the national press, however we very recently had the honour of appearing in articles on both the Daily Mail and London Evening Standard websites about the Thames Tideway project currently underway through central London.

WJ Groundwater is thrilled to announce that it’s a nominated finalist at this year’s Ground Engineering Awards, The Hilton Park Lane, London on the 30th of June.  We have been nominated in the Product and Equipment Innvovation category for in-tunnel drilling, dewatering, depressurisation and probing implementation on the London Crossrail project.

WJ Groundwater’s Toby Roberts was one of three speakers at a well-attended Groundwater Control In Urban Areas conference organised jointly by the Geological Society Engineering Group and British Geotechnical Association. WJ Groundwater has been working with Canary Wharf Estates on their biggest redevelopment project in decades. WJ’s relationship with the client goes back to the Canary Wharf development’s very first phase in the 1980s.

WJ staff and clients have had two papers accepted at the XVI European Conference for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering being held in Edinburgh on 13 – 17 September at ICC. The first paper was to be presented by WJ Groundwater’s chairman, Toby Roberts and the second by Emilio Linde from OTB Engineering.
