Silvertown Crossing Pumping Test

There are over 60 River Crossings within London, including London Bridge, the Dartford Crossing, Westminster Bridge and numerous rail tunnels. In order to reduce the strain on these crossings, and in particular the Blackwell Tunnel, a new crossing will be constructed between the Greenwich Peninsula, home of the iconic O2 Arena, and the Silvertown Docks, along a similar orientation to the Emirates Airline cable car.

Old Oak Common

High Speed 2 (HS2) is a new proposed high-speed rail link connecting London and Birmingham, before being extended up to Leeds and Manchester, via Crewe. As part of these works over 330 miles of track will be laid, accompanied with 21 new or refurbished stations along the length. One of the key new termini that is to be constructed in London is at Old Oak Common.

Royal Albert Dock, London

The Royal Albert Dock in east London was opened in the late 19th century alongside the Victoria Dock and was one of the largest in London at the time, remaining a commercial dock until the 1980s. Since it was closed it has been primarily used for watersports and as a backdrop for the ExCeL Exhibition Centre and London City Airport.

Victoria Square, Woking

Woking, on the outskirts of London, dates back to the 8th Century, although in recent years is most commonly known for featuring in H.G. Wells War of the Worlds, and being part of the London Commuter belt. Anchorsholme Outfall Cofferdam

Blackpool is famous for its iconic Tower, Pleasure Beach and Illuminations, and has been the destination of choices for British holiday-makers for generations. In order to cope with this demand United Utilities, are undertaking a large scale upgrade of the water facilities in the town. This includes the construction of a new water storage tank, and outfall pipe to ensure untreated stormwater isn’t discharged during the stormy weather that often hits the west coast of Great Britain, and the coastal waters can be kept clean for many generations to come.

New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

White Hart Lane, in North London, was the home of Tottenham Hotspur FC for 118 years and during that time played host to some of the worlds greatest footballers before it was decided in 2017 that a new 62,000 seater state-of-the-art stadium, the biggest club stadium in London, would be built to replace the existing White Hart Lane ground.
