We are happy to be a part of this year’s ScotlandBuildExpo. Come and find our stall G32 on 23 / 24 November at the Glasgow SECC where you can meet some of our dewatering experts. We’ll be happy to answer any questions about our industry and to tell you what we’ve been up to and maybe a glimpse of what we’ll have up our sleeves next. So come and say hello.
Our new drill rig, Conrad, got to make ‘his’ project debut at one of the UK’s finest seats of learning and he pulled the job off with aplomb with a little help from his human pals, Mohammad Usman and Paul Judge!
WJ Groundwater has introduced a new Health & Safety (H&S) initiative across its sites called The WJ CARE Card – Committed Aim to Raise Expectations of our staff and clients.
The objective behind the card is to encourage our staff to keep H&S at the forefront everytime they embark on a new task. The CARE card is available for front line WJ operatives to keep a note of any improvements that can be made to processes in order to avoid accidents – also to be able to increase the effectiveness of existing processes.
Following on from the purchase of the supremely handsome Range Rover, we are welcoming a further addition to the fleet. A DAF LF220 18 tonne dropside lorry. It comes equipped with an impressive 10 tonne capacity crane.
WJ Groundwater recently upgraded its transport fleet by adding this new, fully liveried, Landrover Defender 110.
The new addition will be road-wrangled by our electrician Rob Whitby, already an experienced off-road driver. Landrovers are built to conquer all road and weather conditions ensuring that we can always reach our customers. So look out for it on your travels!
Both Phases 1 & 2 of the redevelopment of the Windermere Steam Boat Museum are now complete. The aim is to create a series of new buildings, at its shore side location on Lake Windermere, to house the exhibits, a conservation workshop and a new visitor centre.
WJ Groundwater completed the drilling and installation of the dewatering applications for Phase 1 in March 2016. Read our earlier blog.
