WJ Groundwater September 26, 2016WJ Groundwater has introduced a new Health & Safety (H&S) initiative across its sites called The WJ CARE Card – Committed Aim to Raise Expectations of our staff and clients.
The objective behind the card is to encourage our staff to keep H&S at the forefront everytime they embark on a new task. The CARE card is available for front line WJ operatives to keep a note of any improvements that can be made to processes in order to avoid accidents – also to be able to increase the effectiveness of existing processes.

WJ Groundwater August 27, 2016Richard Fielden, Mark Pickett, Gary Holmes and Neil Coulter attended the 20th Construction News Awards held at the Grosvenor Hotel on 14 July 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
WJ Groundwater was been named as a finalist in the category Specialist Contractor of the Year (turnover up to £100m). Unfortunately, they were beat to the top spot this year.

WJ Groundwater July 19, 2016WJ Groundwater recently upgraded its transport fleet by adding this new, fully liveried, Landrover Defender 110.
The new addition will be road-wrangled by our electrician Rob Whitby, already an experienced off-road driver. Landrovers are built to conquer all road and weather conditions ensuring that we can always reach our customers. So look out for it on your travels!
UAE Update: Congratulations to Khrina Lopez – now certified ISO 9001: 2015
WJ Groundwater June 29, 2016WJ Groundwater congratulates Khrina Lopez of our Dubai office on becoming ISO 9001 certified. Khrina received her IRCA Transition Training Course Certificate in late May.
The auditing process and achieiving certification status is no ‘walk in the park’ either. We are immensely proud of Khrina for her hard work and dedication for the company.

Both Phases 1 & 2 of the redevelopment of the Windermere Steam Boat Museum are now complete. The aim is to create a series of new buildings, at its shore side location on Lake Windermere, to house the exhibits, a conservation workshop and a new visitor centre.
WJ Groundwater completed the drilling and installation of the dewatering applications for Phase 1 in March 2016. Read our earlier blog.
